Creative marketing collateral and building signage to support The New Black Vanguard: Photography between Art and Fashion exhibition by Aperture.

Marketing Strategy

It was crucial to differentiate the storylines of two overlapping exhibitions. Black Is Beautiful celebrated African American beauty and independence. The New Black Vanguard celebrated young, black photographers who are pushing the boundaries of black beauty.

Both exhibitions were positively received online and in-person. Additionally, 17% of visitors were African American which is one of the highest numbers for a photography exhibition.
