Branding to support the annual APAHM Heritage Month celebrations. Brand identity applied to all digital, print, and social media collateral.

Research

The color palette was developed based on research from the Colours of Asia exhibition. The findings from this research provide valuable insights into the cultural significance of color across Asia, serving as an excellent reference for the brand identity.

Marketing Campaign Management

The Marketing team was given the responsibility of leading a key project, and I volunteered to take charge of the APAHM Month program. As a Filipino, I took great pride in spearheading this initiative, especially during a time when Asian hate was on the rise amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It was essential to adapt the program to digital platforms, as it had traditionally been conducted in person.

Vincent Chen

In 2022, the 40th anniversary of Vincent Chin’s murder was commemorated with a four-day event in Detroit. The DIA helped promote the commemoration, which included a screening of the documentary Who Killed Vincent Chin? at the Detroit Film Theatre.
